LunarPhase: Moon Calendar

This Privacy Policy explains how the LunarPhase: Moon Calendar mobile app (the "App"; Android package com.chaininterlynx.lunarcal) collects, uses and shares information. The App is published on Google Play and the App Store under the developer name iDev4u by Chain Interlynx, LLC ("Chain Interlynx," "iDev4u," "we," "us" or "our"), 212 Cottonwood Ln, Mandeville, LA 70471, United States. The App shows the current moon phase, illumination, moonrise and moonset, and a moon calendar. It is free and supported by advertising.

By using LunarPhase: Moon Calendar you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

LunarPhase: Moon Calendar does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number or other contact details. Your settings and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not sent to our servers.

When you use the App, the advertising SDKs built into it automatically collect the following data and share it with our advertising partners (listed in Section 3):

• Device or other IDs. Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID; IDFA on iOS where you allow tracking) and other device-level identifiers, used to deliver, frequency-cap and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud.
• Location. If you grant the app permission to use your device's location, LunarPhase: Moon Calendar uses it to calculate moonrise, moonset and other times for where you are. In addition, our advertising partners may collect your approximate (coarse) location, for example derived from your IP address, to select and measure ads. We do not collect precise location for advertising.
• App interactions. Information about how you interact with ads and the App, such as ad impressions, clicks and session events.
• Crash logs and diagnostics. Technical data such as crash reports, performance and diagnostic data, device model, operating system version, language, network type and IP address, used to keep ads working and to measure ad performance.

This data is collected as a required part of the free, ad-supported App. All data is transmitted using encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

2. How We Use Information

• To show advertising in the App and to measure its performance (advertising or marketing).
• To diagnose crashes and technical problems and to improve the App (analytics).
• To provide App features (for example, location-based calculations where you have granted permission).
• To comply with legal obligations and to prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not use the data described above to identify you personally.

3. Advertising Partners

LunarPhase: Moon Calendar shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses mediation to request ads from the partners below. Each partner receives the data described in Section 1 and processes it under its own privacy policy:

4. Personalized Ads and How to Opt Out

Our partners may use the data above to show you ads based on your interests (personalized ads), including across other apps and websites. You can limit this at any time:

• Android: open Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) and choose Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization.
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off tracking for the App; Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising to turn off Personalized Ads.
• Google: manage ad personalization at My Ad Center.
• EEA, UK and Switzerland: the App asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown where required; you can change your choice through the App's consent option where available or with the device settings above.
• US state privacy laws (e.g. California): you may opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising using the device settings above or by emailing us.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

5. Children

LunarPhase: Moon Calendar is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.

6. Sharing

We share information only with the advertising partners in Section 3, with service providers acting on our behalf, when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally by the App stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not keep a server-side copy of your in-app data. Data collected by our advertising partners is retained according to their own policies (linked above). You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings, and you can email us for help with an access or deletion request; we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us to exercise these rights.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, and data is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above.
